Wow, what a whirlwind of a weekend! We just wrapped up our very first booth vendor event at the Red River Valley Home and Garden Show, and let me tell you, it was an experience to remember! Located right in the heart of Fargo at the Fargodome, this event was like the perfect kick-off for our new adventure.
Preparing for the Big Event
We found out about this amazing show just two months ago, which barely gave us enough time to prepare. But that didn’t stop us! We dove headfirst into planning our booth layout, brainstorming custom items to give away, and budgeting every little expense. Our team hustled to ask all the right questions, and thankfully, the staff of the show were incredibly helpful and accommodating. From scheduling shifts to finalizing our display, the hustle was real!
Meeting Local Businesses
During the show, we were fortunate enough to connect with so many fantastic local companies. It felt wonderful to be surrounded by others who share the same passion for the community! We had engaging conversations with representatives from Jacuzzi of Fargo, Baker Garden & Gift, Ulrich Pool, On Track Garage Door, and Building & Grounds Maintenance, just to name a few. Each interaction brought a new opportunity to learn and collaborate.
Connecting with Visitors
One of the most rewarding aspects of the event was meeting lovely visitors who were genuinely excited to learn about what we do. We made it a point to engage openly and enthusiastically, and we were thrilled to see so many smiles. It was heartwarming to hear encouraging feedback and ideas from people who stopped by our booth. These interactions truly highlighted why we participate in such events – it’s all about building lasting connections and sharing our passion with the community.
As we packed up at the end of the show, we couldn’t help but feel grateful for the experience and the people we met along the way. It was our first event, sure, but it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already dreaming up ideas for the next one, learning from everything we experienced this time around. Stay tuned for more updates from us as we continue to grow and connect within our local community!
